ProSafe researchers presented their latest work at the European Safety and Reliability Conference (ESREL 2026), sharing advances in quantitative risk assessment and process safety.

DC01 Mercedes presented two research projects : one on combining uncertainty and convergence analysis to improve the reliability of risk assessment for ammonia heavy-gas dispersion modelling, and another on integrating global sensitivity analysis into quantitative risk assessment (QRA) for hydrogen jet flame modelling.

DC05 Lorenza presented her work , "Impact of Modeling Tool Choice on ERPG Safety Zones for Ammonia Releases," highlighting how different modelling approaches can influence safety zone predictions for ammonia release scenarios.

The conference provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with the international safety and reliability community and showcase the latest research from the ProSafe network.
